Do you offer virtual/telehealth sessions?

Yes. We offer both in-person and virtual therapy appointments to provide flexible, accessible mental health care for our clients. In-person counseling sessions are available in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We also provide secure virtual telehealth therapy sessions for clients located in PSYPACT participating states.
What is PSYPACT?

PSYPACT is an interstate compact that allows licensed psychologists to provide telepsychology and temporary in-person services across state lines. They provide secure virtual telehealth therapy sessions for clients located in PSYPACT participating states, allowing individuals to access high-quality mental health counseling from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. Virtual therapy sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure privacy and confidentiality throughout your care.
Dr. Rhodes (APIT #: 19949) and Dr. Johnson (APIT #: 20641) are licensed psychologists and are PSYPACT providers. They are able to provide therapy virtually to individuals in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, & Wyoming.
What are your fees? Do you take insurance?

We offer both self-pay and insurance-based therapy services. Please contact our office directly to inquire about current private pay fees for individual therapy, group therapy, and trauma-focused counseling services. We accept most major insurance plans and are continually working to expand our in-network provider options. We also offer support for clients using out-of-network benefits and can provide a superbill for reimbursement purposes when applicable.
Are sessions confidential?

Yes. Your privacy and confidentiality are extremely important to us. All individual therapy and group therapy sessions are conducted in a safe, private, and professional environment in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards for mental health care.
