Our virtual only group therapy services provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals can connect, heal, and grow alongside others with shared experiences. Designed for veterans, first responders, and survivors of trauma, our evidence-based group therapy programs help participants build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and develop healthy coping skills in a compassionate community setting.

Group therapy offers a powerful opportunity to realize you are not alone in your struggles. Guided by experienced trauma-informed therapists, participants gain support, encouragement, and practical tools for managing anxiety, PTSD, depression, stress, grief, and the lasting effects of trauma. Through meaningful connection and shared understanding, group members often experience increased confidence, emotional healing, and renewed hope.
Benefits of Group Therapy
  • Build connection and reduce feelings of isolation
  • Learn healthy coping strategies and communication skills
  • Gain support from others with similar life experiences
  • Improve emotional regulation and stress management
  • Develop resilience and self-awareness
  • Experience healing in a safe, judgment-free environment
  • Strengthen relationships and interpersonal skills
  • The struggle is real. You want connection—but something gets in the way.

    You may:

    • Struggle to join conversations or “read the room”

    • Miss social cues that others seem to pick up naturally

    • Overthink what to say—or say too much when anxious

    • Withdraw, shut down, or feel awkward in group settings

    • Feel left out, misunderstood, or different

Maybe you’ve been diagnosed with anxiety, ADHD, or are on the autism spectrum. Or maybe you’ve just always felt socially unsure, navigating conversations without a clear roadmap.

This virtual group is grounded in Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT)—a research-based approach that focuses on:

    • Social signaling (facial expression, tone, body language)

    • Flexibility over perfection

    • Connection over control

Because social ease isn’t about being perfect—it’s about feeling safe enough to be open, present, and responsive with others.

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or DBT for short, is an evidence-based treatment method that has been proven to help reduce anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress symptoms, decrease suicidal and self-harming thoughts and behaviors, and increase self-worth and self-respect.

    • Mindfulness skills which will help them to calmly identify and accept their thoughts and feelings without judgement or escalation.

    • Distress tolerance skills to help them get through difficult situations without turning to coping mechanisms that may be unhelpful or even self-destructive.

    • Emotion regulation skills to help manage their big emotions and cope with their negative feelings before they become overwhelming or out of control.

    • Interpersonal effectiveness skills which will help them to better relate to others, form meaningful connections, and effectively advocate for their own needs.

We offer both private pay and insurance-based therapy services to make mental health care as accessible and flexible as possible. For clients who prefer self-pay options or wish to maintain additional privacy and flexibility in their treatment, private pay therapy sessions are available. Please inquire regarding fees.

For those using out-of-network insurance benefits, we can provide a detailed superbill that may be submitted to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health counseling and psychotherapy services, depending on your individual policy and benefits. We encourage clients to contact their insurance provider directly to learn more about their out-of-network mental health coverage, deductibles, and reimbursement rates.
We are currently in-network with the following insurance providers:
  • Aetna
  • Tricare

Our goal is to make high-quality trauma therapy, individual counseling, and mental health services accessible for veterans, first responders, trauma survivors, and individuals seeking emotional healing and wellness. If you have questions about insurance coverage, private pay rates, or scheduling an appointment, our team is happy to help guide you through the process.
